Hannah Miell, Owner and Behaviourist at Positively Pets
Hannah lives in Exeter, Devon with her two Crossbreed Dalmatians, Cora and Alfie, and a Chihuahua cross called Ellie.
With a passion for animals from a young age, Hannah went on to study and receive an Honours Degree in BSc Animal Behaviour and Welfare at Plymouth University. She has attended numerous practical and theoretical training courses with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT), has membership with the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC), the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), Association for the Study of Animal Behaviour (ASAB) and International Association of Animal Behaviour Counsellors (IAABC). Hannah has gained over 8 years of practical experience with rescue pets as well as 10 years of boarding, day care, training and behaviour consults under Positively Pets.
Hannah believes that training and behaviour counselling are the key ingredients to making a happy pet and a great bond between owner and animal. As a fellow animal owner, and having owned dogs with behaviour issues, she is able to resonate with pet owners' frustrations and feelings of isolation when problems do arise.
